False repentance cannot lead one to God, but only consoles his soul. False repentance is a one-sided confession which never takes into account the will of God. This is not something that God expects from us. What is true repentance? It is to return to God. To come back to the Word of the salvation of Jesus and believe in the Word the way it was written. The gospel that saves us is the gospel of the baptism of Jesus, His crucifixion and resurrection. When we believe in this gospel completely, we are then saved and earn everlasting salvation. THE GOSPEL OF THE WATER AND THE SPIRIT ???? The baptism we receive and the baptism Jesus received is different. Jesus Christ received the baptism in order to take the sins of all people upon Him, but we receive baptism as a sign of believing that our sins have been transferred over to Jesus at the time He was baptized like that.
