In the book the divinity of Jesus as the Son of God with the power of resurrection from the dead is tersely unveiled. Like this, Jesus was the end of the Law by washing away all our sins during His baptism by John. The book sheds light on how the Lord subsequently took all our sins at the Jordan and was judged for them on the Cross so that we would have the fullness of grace, truth and the remission of sin by believing in Him. Explaining further that those with this faith in Jesus are united with the Lord and indiscriminately obtain God`s righteousness. So death, the book adds, which implicates here our spiritual separation from God because of the wages of sin and not just the death of the flesh doesn`t fall on us nor are we the righteous judged by God or end up in hell.

The book describes the baptism of Jesus and the shedding of His blood on the Cross at Golgotha in the New Testament as the spiritual circumcision which is the circumcision of the heart that cuts off our sins with counterparts in the Old Testament carried out by the physical circumcision of the Israelites and the striking of the lamb`s blood on the two doorposts and lintel of their houses on the Passover feast.

It roots out and throws down the prevailing forged Christian doctrines on sanctification (that a person incrementally changes to be justified) or justification (that is one is saved and made righteous even with sin in the heart) as it reveals what the righteousness of God is all about (Romans 1:17). Believing in the baptism Jesus received from John the Baptist, His bloodshed on the Cross and His resurrection from the dead reveals God`s unchanging righteousness inside the gospel of the water and the Spirit that is explained throughout the book. So this is what is to be preached to others by us when you and I have first of all settled all our problems of sins, amid our weaknesses hidden or revealed. In other words, the gist in the work of spreading the gospel of the water and the Spirit doesn`t precede settling the problems of sin we have and should never be carried out unless we are done by having all our problems of sin solved, as admonished in the book, even though we would keep committing sins after being born again because of our flesh but these sins are now considered dead sins since Jesus took them to the Cross. ✉️
