The laying on of hands, the ordination
This was a God given method for the
passing of sin onto the sin offering in the Old Testament (Leviticus
4:29, 16:21). In the days of the Old Testament, God allowed people
to atone for their sins by laying hands on the heads of the sin
offerings inside the tabernacle. It was to reveal the baptism of
Jesus to come in the New Testament.
