About Me :

The Lord, even though He chose me in Him before the foundation of the world (Ephesians 1:4), He liberated me at a refugee camp in 1979, after my family fled the brutal regime of the genocide in Cambodia. I accepted the Lord on December 18, 1979, and was baptized on January 10, 1980. As I began to read and study the words of God daily, the Holy Spirit opened my blinded eyes to see who the true God and Jesus Christ is and then I became in love with Him ever since. I made marks all over my Bible with highlight and underline. As a repentance-sinner I understood why I needed to be baptized into Jesus Christ my Savior. But still there was a question in my mind that made me ponder for a long time sine the beginning of my Christian life. And during my searching for the real answer to this question "why did Jesus have to be baptized if He has no sin?". For all these times, no one could give me a satisfactory answer. Until November of 2006, while I was searching for the answer on the Internet, the New Life Mission page appeared on my computer screen. Then I started to read the "about us" statement and the "statement of faith". I also browsed the "free books" sections and decided to download a couple of free books to read. I loved the answer that Pastor Paul C. Jong laid out in his books in responding to my mysterious question "why did Jesus have to be baptized if He has no sin?". Now, I understand the reason WHY He received the Baptism. The Bible tells me that He came to this world as the Lamb of God. He received the Baptism from John the Baptist to fulfill ALL righteousness of God's Law in order to cut off the filth of sin from my heart (my spiritual circumcision). For that reason, because I believed in Him, I have no sin in my heart since my Savior, Jesus Christ, took upon Himself all of my sins through His baptism and paid for them by shedding His precious blood on the Cross. The Lord said, "You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free" John 8:32. I am free indeed. Praise be to the Lord my God and my Savior. I humbly admit, I used to blindly misinterprete the word "Water" in John 3:5 to mean that "the word of God" like some Churches have been teaching their flocks, which is false teaching. As I grasp and accept the true meaning of Gospel of the water and the Spirit into my heart, the Lord (through His Spirit) also revealed to me the mysteries of the other scriptures as well, such as: I Peter 3:21; I John 5:6-8; John 1:29-37; II Corinthians 5:21; Matthew 3:13-15; Leviticus 1:1-4, 3:12-14. I realized I was blind, but now I see. Glory be to God!. Now I understand the true meaning of the Gospel of the water and the Spirit. Thanks to Pastor Paul C. Jong of the New Life Mission.
